Kailan Tyler-Moss
Kailan began her acting journey in 2012 at Beenleigh Theatre Group with her first production being Oliver! Once Kailan left the dance world behind in 2015, she dedicated herself to gaining as much experience as possible in every area of acting, participating in numerous courses around South- East QLD, along with a variety of productions ranging in both genre and roles including Just Chill (2019), The Twits (2020), Witches (2021). At the age of 18, Kailan had her first experience in a directing role as the Assistant Director and swing in the 2021 production of Charlotte’s Web. In 2022, Kailan made her debut as a director, playwright, and swing with LaunchPad Productions. Following this, Kailan made her film debut in the short film titled Invisibilis before returning to stage with her first offical Shakespeare production as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Brisbane Arts Theatre.

Lara Hinton
Lara has been invested in performing since she was very young, enjoying participating in extracurricular drama classes and yearly shows at the Brisbane Performing Arts Academy. She continued her love for theatre all through highschool, and in 2018 joined the local Samford theatre group Spadewerx, known for doing Shakespeare and British Farce shows twice a year. Notable roles include Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2021), Sorel Bliss in Hay Fever (2022) and Midge Harvey in The Hollow (2023).
Lara completed a year of a Bachelors degree double majoring in Drama and Film and QUT, and began doing shows with Brisbane Arts Theatre in 2023 which included High School Musical (Kelsi Neilson), Bard Wars (Threepio) and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf/Logainne swing). She is excited to continue being on stage this year with such an amazing cast for a meaningful and funny show!

Madeline Johns
Madeleine is a Brisbane-based actor, director and producer who has worked in Theatre since the mid 70’s. Prior to returning to Redcliffe in 2006, Madeleine was based in Sydney where she started her journey in theatre. She has performed and directed in Sydney, Jakarta, Brisbane and various country towns over the decades with highlights including Maria in West Side Story, Sandy in Grease, Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress and as Sybil Fawlty in the Fawlty Towers dinner show based in the Blue Mountains. Madeleine’s directing credits span 4 decades and include highlights such as Singin’ in the Rain, Phantom, the World Community Theatre Premier of Saturday Night Fever, Qld Premier of Wicked and PRISCILLA Queen of the Desert. She loves directing musicals – the bigger the better – but as an actor enjoys performing in plays and her preference is for drama with a dash of psychological thriller. To that end she has performed in various Agatha Christie plays, in Nightmare with Pymble Players and as Dr Martha Livingston in Agnes of God for RMT which took her to NZ after the play won the Sunshine Coast Drama Festival in 2017.

Meg Kiddle
Meg is a Brisbane based Singer / Performer/ Teacher/Vocal Director. She has toured Australia in 2 productions of Menopause the Musical and is currently preparing the role of Joanne for Phoenix ensemble’s upcoming show “Company”. Meg has performed in many community productions in Musical Theatre and Plays including among her highlights; Mrs Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Donna (Mamma Mia), Carlotta (Phantom of the Opera), Annas (Jesus Christ Superstar), M’Lynn (Steel Magnolias), Michelle (‘Allo, ‘Allo), Rapunzel (Into the Woods) Golde (Fiddler on the Roof) and Mae Tuck (Tuck Everlasting). She received a Gold Coast Palm Award in 2022 for best Vocal Director for her work in Into the Woods and was a finalist for Best Actress for Donna in Mamma Mia 2021.
Meg is co-producer and performer in Queens of Song currently touring NSW and QLD and provides vocals for a local covers band.

Peta Townend
​From a young age Peta was interested in the theatre and involved in school and local productions. With qualifications as a mathematician and electrical engineer she has followed a technical and analytical path in a variety of industries. It was because she has always felt like a square peg in a round hole, that she followed a lifelong dream to tap into her creative side through the arts and take acting classes. She has been an enthusiastic student since 2018 and has being involved in many productions including Dodger (2019), Making Money (2020), the iconic Lady, Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest (2022), Much Ado About Nothing (2022), Things I Know to Be True (2023), Under Milkwood (2023), Ebenezer (2023), Harvey (2024) and Murder on the Menu (2024).

Nicky Whichelow
Nicky started her acting career with the Royal Shakespeare Company and continued into semi-professional theatre in the UK for several years after that (Great Expectations, Death of a Salesman, The Importance of Being Earnest and Misery). After losing her sight temporarily and finding solace in audiobooks and audio drama, as soon as her sight returned she started to volunteer with Talking Newspapers to give back to organisations who she credits for saving her mental health. Finding immense joy in that space she trained in voice technique and voice acting and turned professional in voice acting in 2012. She has since voiced hundreds of commercials and narration projects and even ended up voicing one of A$AP Rocky’s Music Videos for MTV ! Nicky completed a PhD in Resilience as a passion project (2016-2021), during which she wrote and narrated an audiobook on helping children cope with grief called Saying Goodbye is Hard. She has been part of the Brisbane acting community since 2021 and has recently trained at NIDA to update her skills.

Shirley Moran
Shirley has always been passionate about the arts and performance and has engaged in a range of cultural activities across the decades from classical dance to political street theatre, theatre workshops and song. Theatre is her first and enduring love and while she took a long time to start performing herself she has taken to it with enthusiasm and joy. Shirley is the owner/manager of Shirley’s, a performance space for artists: supporting emerging and established artists in an intimate affordable space. Shirley has performed recently with Sunnybank Theatre Group, Brisbane Arts Theatre and Growl Theatre. Shirley is delighted to be a part of Ten Reasons and is thrilled to be working with such a talented and delightful group of women.

Stephanie O'Shea
Stephanie burst onto the Brisbane theatre scene for the first time in 2018 as a choreographer for Brisbane Arts Theatre’s first production of Shrek the Musical. Since then, she has been a familiar face around the Arts Theatre, becoming involved in various productions including (but not limited to): We Will Rock You (2018), 50 Shades! The Musical Parody (2018), Spamalot (2019), and later reprised her role as a choreographer in the Arts Theatre’s most recent production of Shrek the Musical, where also took on the role of co-director. In early 2023, she appeared as Dolly in One Man, Two Guvnors, and was also a co-director for this production. Soon after, she made her solo directorial debut with her childhood favourite, High School Musical. Since then, she featured in Abadon Productions cyberpunk-style burlesque show, HOTBOTS. Her most recent role was that of Younger Elizabeth in Brisbane Arts Theatre’s production of When Theatre Rain Stops Falling, which was a bucket list show for her. This is Stephanie’s first production with Pip Theatre, and she is very excited to be a part of showcasing Brisbane’s brilliant female talent.

Traci Sumpter
Traci has been involved in a number of productions over the last year, playing all characters from a late aged, dominatrix/sex coach as Pam from Swingers, to a blood curling pirate, Sharkey in Captain Cooks Revenge, using accents from "yorkie" to "Glaswegian". She enjoys being a chameleon and puts her heart into each character. This is her first production with PIP Theatre and just thrilled to be a part of this great show.

Virginia Grey
Virginia is involved in theatre and film. Her day job keeps her fed and her passion keeps her going. She has played a variety of roles from Comedic to Absurd, physical theatre to period dramas. From Yeppoon Little Theatre to most of SEQ she has popped up randomly. Cherry in COSI to Mrs Higgins in PYGMALION. Currently she is spearheading the start of a community theatre group in north-east Brisbane, she just loves a challenge. She lives for performing, dabbles in directing and writing and is never still for long.
